Sheriff Tom Knight today held a press conference to announce the results of Operation Intercept, a six-day multi-agency effort to protect Sarasota County children from online predators. His overarching message was to parents and the need be more aware of what their children are doing on the Internet. The FBI has created a valuable guide for parents. It explains what adults can do to minimize the chance children will be victimized and the signs a child might be at risk.
