The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office and Suncoast Safe Kids Coalition Sarasota, led by All Children's Hospital, will hold "Seat Check Saturday" to help parents and caregivers ensure their children are in safety seats that fit correctly and are properly installed. Members of the Traffic Division will also help make sure youngsters are using the right restraints for their age and size. Earlier this week, the Sarasota County Board of County Commissioners declared September 16-22, 2012, Child Passenger Safety Week to recognize this event, which is free to the public. Seat Check Saturday will be held September 22nd, at Publix, 3826 S. Osprey Ave., Sarasota. Please share this information with your friends and neighbors who have young passengers in their cars!
