A Monroe County jail inmate who was terminally ill and underhospice care while incarcerated, died of natural causes early today.
40 year old Ramon Fidler was pronounced dead just before 2a.m. in the Sick Bay unit of the Stock Island Detention Center.
Fidler was arrested May 22, 2012 after threatening someonewith a knife at Independence Cay, the homeless shelter in Marathon. He was injail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly intoxication.
