The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone to makesure doors and windows are locked overnight or when no one is at home. Althoughit is tempting to leave doors and windows open now that the weather is cooler, itis simply not safe to do so. Make sure all car doors are locked as well, andvaluables are not left in the car when it is unoccupied. Most burglaries tohomes and vehicles are easily prevented with just a few safety precautions suchas these.
