Women who want to learn how to protect themselves can sign up for this month's Self Defense Class offered by the Adult & Community Enrichment (ACE) program at Sarasota County Technical Institute (SCTI). The course is taught by two experienced Sheriff's Deputies and is designed to teach women basic self-defense concepts, including hands-on practical application of defensive techniques.
